If you don’t find what you’re looking for, just drop us a message, we’ll look after you.
What is Everyday Athlete Gym?
Everyday Athlete Gym is a coach-led fitness community in Glasgow offering CrossFit, Muay Thai, personal training, and recovery services.
We specialise in making high-quality coaching accessible to all levels—, rom complete beginners to competitive athletes—without the ego or intimidation.
Is there parking at the gym?
Yes, we’ve got free parking right outside the gym on Borron Street.
I’ve never done CrossFit or Muay Thai before, can I still join?
Absolutely. Most of our members started exactly where you are. We offer beginner-friendly coaching, a fundamentals intro session, and scalable workouts to help you build confidence at your own pace. We’ll look after you from day one.
What should I bring to my first class?
- Water bottle
- Comfortable workout gear
- Clean indoor trainers
- A good attitude, we’ll look after the rest
If you’re doing Muay Thai, bring your own gloves and potentially shinguards, but we’ve got loaner gear available if you’re just getting started.
What’s the best way to get started?
For CrossFit, we ask all new members to complete a Fundamentals Session. In this one-off session, a coach will guide you through the key movements and class structure so you feel confident walking into your first workout. It costs £40, but that amount comes off your first month’s full membership if you decide to join.
For Muay Thai, you’re welcome to come along to any evening class, Monday to Thursday, regardless of experience. Our coaches will help you ease in, and no previous martial arts experience is required.
What’s included in a membership?
Every membership includes unlimited access to CrossFit, Muay Thai, and Open Gym, as well as full access to our member app, Wodify. Inside Wodify, you'll find a growing library of bonus programming including:
- EDA Flex (functional hypertrophy)
- Mobility
- Compete (for advanced athletes)
- EDA 40 (for efficient 40-minute workouts)
Where is the gym located?
We’re at100 Borron St, Port Dundas, Glasgow, G4 9XG—on Borron Street itself, not within the business park. We’re a few minutes from Glasgow city centre, with free on-site parking and easy access via Cowcaddens Subway.
Do you offer classes for kids?
Yes—we run structured Kids Muay Thai classes every week, designed to build confidence, discipline, and fitness in a fun environment.
Our kids' classes are typically from 7 to 14, with coaches adapting sessions based on experience and ability. If you’re unsure whether your child is ready, just get in touch.
Classes are suitable for different experience levels, and sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5.30pm.
Memberships are available for once or twice per week.
Can I bring a friend to try a session?
Absolutely! Friends are welcome to drop in for a session, it's £15 and can be booked online.
If they’re curious about what we do, the Thursday night CrossFit class is perfect for first-timers, with a friendly vibe and coaching that’s beginner-aware.
If your friend wants to continue after that and they're new to CrossFit, they’ll need to complete a Fundamentals Session before jumping into regular training. It’s a one-off session to learn the key movements and get comfortable with the format and the cost of which comes off their first full months membership.
For Muay Thai, no fundamentals session is needed, they can jump straight into any evening class, Monday through Thursday.
Can I pause or freeze my membership?
We don’t offer membership pauses, as all memberships are billed via direct debit and require 30 days’ notice to cancel.
If you’re going to be away or need time off, you can still cancel with notice and rejoin when ready, but a new membership would begin on your return
We structure memberships this way to keep things fair and sustainable for our coaching team and our capped membership numbers.
How do I cancel my membership?
We require 30 days’ notice to cancel any membership. This ensures we have time to process your request and manage coaching capacity for our classes and programs.
Key Points to Know:
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email
- Your 30-day notice period begins the day we receive your cancellation request
- You may be charged one final billing cycle depending on when your next payment is due
- You'll retain full access to classes, open gym, and Wodify throughout your notice period
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time during the final month
If you can’t attend during your final 30 days, we can convert your remaining time into a 10-session pass valid for 6 months, so you can drop in when life allows. Just mention this when you email us to cancel.
Why we do this:
Everyday Athlete is a coach-led facility with a limited number of membership spaces. Our programming, staffing, and availability are built around committed members, and the 30-day notice helps us keep things fair and sustainable for everyone.

Best Experience
I had the absolute best experience at EDA last week! The coaches were fantastic, enthusiastic, supportive, and super fun. They even stayed after the session to help me learn bar muscle ups! The gym has everything you need to get an all around full body workout. I will definitely go back at EDA when I am back in Glasgow!

Gained Confidence
I've been going to EDA since 2018. I PT with Tommy and when I first started I couldn't do 5 sit ups, now I'm doing olympic lifts and CrossFit open is my favourite time of year.
I can't actually believe I said that but it's true. I've gained so much confidence in coming into the gym where as before I would have been terrified. Instead of hating it I now cannot wait to get there!

The whole team at EDA always deliver fun and challenging classes you just can’t beat it!

Dropped Two Dress Sizes
I joined this gym when it opened nearly 6 years and two dress sizes ago. Before coming here and meeting the coaches, I’d never been able to maintain the motivation needed to consistently train and traditional gyms were pretty dull to me.
At EDA you get coach planned and driven conditioning sessions (which are different every time), Thai boxing sessions, and lifting plans all provided as part of your membership but it’s not just because of the awesome workouts that I love it.
It’s an inclusive place that makes everyone feel welcome and supported and I’ve made friends here.
I would highly recommend it. You’ll come to get fit but you’ll stay for the banter!
